2019-02-14 Seniors Group Meeting – Orleans

Dear Friends, Greetings! Last Meeting February 7, 2019: (Courtesy of Jeet Khosla)  It was an intimate meeting of 10 members. We were delighted to have Ramesh Airi join us, as lately his visits have few and far between for a number of reasons. Ramesh has always entertained with his very melodious singing voice, but this time, in addition, we were really amazed about his memory when told us not so well known details of the famous Punjabi love story of Heer and Ranja. There also was a general discussion, and songs and jokes from other members. This Meeting-February 14, 2019 – Valentine’s Day: The details for this meeting are as follows: Location: Room 340, 255  Centrum Boulevard, Orleans  (Our Regular room is now available – POTLUCK Lunch is on) Time: 1 PM Agenda: 1. Potluck Lunch and Socialization: 1 – 2:00 PM 2: Lunch Cleanup: 2:00 – 2:15 PM 3. Announcements/Discussion: 2:15 – 2:30 PM 4. Songs etc: 2:30 – 3:45 PM 5. Wrap up and final cleanup:  3:45 – 4:00 PM Signup Sheet: A link for the sign-up sheet for the potluck lunch is provided below. Please  indicate whether you will be coming, how many people and what will you be bringing. You may add your name to the sign-up sheet if it not already there. This is to ensure that we are not getting four rice dishes or as many desserts. RSVP: In order to assure that we have a balanced meal please indicate your wishes preferably by 5 PM on Wednesday. This will allow time for any adjustments in the menu that may be desirable. As always, if you decide at the last minute to come or bring any guest please feel free, there is always enough food to go around. Reducing Waste: Everybody is requested to bring and use their own reusable dishes and take these back home for cleaning. We do have a limited supply of dishes for the guests.
