2019-04-05 Seniors Group Meeting – Tanglewood

Greetings! Spring is here! Hopefully the winter will let go of its hold very soon. “Vaisakhi” is on April 14th this year. Vaisakhi marks the Punjabi New Year, Sikh New Year, and is a Spring Harvest Festival for the Sikhs. At Tanglewood Centre, we will celebrate the occasion on Friday April 12th. Food will be catered by Rinag. Pre-packed in individual trays, it will be a typical Punjabi meal of Makki Ki Roti with Saag, and Lassi. ICCC members pay the subsidized cost of $5 per person, and non members will pay the full cost of $10 per person. Please pay by this Friday April 5th so we know how many meal trays to order. We don’t want anyone to miss out. This Friday 5th April, we can look forward to meet Erica Claus, from Compassionate Ottawa. Erica will conduct a “Conversation about Planning for Latter Years of Life”.

Pack-up and Tidy-up, with everyones help 12:00 – 15:00 ……… Bridge: Bala Ji will teach Bridge from 13:00 till 14:30….PLEASE BE ON TIME. Potluck Lunch menu is complete. A big thank you to all. We will sit and enjoy another Balanced and Nutritious meal together. Stay engaged in some physical and social activities, for Quality of Life and Healthy Aging.
