Greetings!
Last Friday, we had a very engaging talk on “Planning for Latter Years of Life”, by
Erica Claus, from Compassionate Ottawa. Erica has agreed to conduct follow up work-shops if members are interested. That can be arranged at a later date.
In my last email, I mentioned how
Vaisakhi is celebrated in Punjab. But, this time of the year (in April), there are different celebrations by other religious orders and by other states in India too. I would like our non-Punjabi friends to share with us, what and how they celebrate.
This Friday, 12th April we will Remember
All of India’s April Celebrations!
Food is being catered by
Rinag. Pre-packed in individual trays. It will be a typical Punjabi meal of
Makki Ki Roti with Saag and
Lassi. ICCC
Tanglewood members pay the subsidized cost of
$5 per person, and all others
will pay the full cost of $10 per person. We still have a few seats left. If you have not signed up, you have till Wednesday at 12:00 hrs to do so. After this time, we will go ahead and place the order for the exact number of trays with Rinag. We don’t want anyone to miss out.
